Trails Co-Chair

ADK-GVC trails group,
I am planning to take over the chair of the executive committee for our chapter starting in January 2026 and am looking for someone who would like to take over my role as Trails Co-chair. Currently, Larry Telle and I serve as trail co-chairs.
Basically, the role of the Trails Co-chairs is to coordinate the Hiking trips led by our chapter. This includes recruiting new hike leaders and helping them to become ADK certified and encouraging existing leaders to lead hikes for the chapter. Specifically, Larry maintains the hiking group email list and Jim oversees the ADK certifications for our trip leaders.
