The Indian School of Business is hosting the 6th edition of India's largest National Social Venture Competition "iDiya"
- YFS strongly encourages the change agent in you to put forward your ideas at this level!
In a nutshell, what is iDiya?
iDiya is a great platform for social entrepreneurs (or aspiring social entrepreneurs) to showcase their ideas and get mentored by venture capitalists, entrepreneurs, social activists and faculty members in order to help convert their visions to reality.
Broadly, how does this work?
Teams of 2 to 4 working professionals submit an executive summary of their business plans or ideas for evaluation along criteria such as social impact, criticality of the social need and sustainability of the enterprise. The 10 best ideas are invited to ISB's Hyderabad campus for a week-long, all-expenses-paid bootcamp followed by the main competition day where teams present their business plans to an esteemed jury.
The bootcamp provides the teams an opportunity to network with renowned businessmen and organizations that will provide mentoring support not just during the bootcamp but even afterwards.
