प्रिय मित्रहो,

कुमारीमाता या आपल्या माता-भगिनी. मात्र मागील इतकी वर्षे या आपल्या
गोरगरीब दुर्बल बांधवांचे शोषण होत असतानाही याबाबत आमच्या नेत्यांनी
किंवा कार्यकर्त्यांनी कोणतीही भूमिका घेतली नाही. आमचे शोषण इतरांकडून
होत असताना आम्ही मात्र पाहत होतो. ज्यांच्यावर या गोरगरीब आदिवासी
जनतेच्या संरक्षणाची जबाबदारी आहे असे आदिवासी मंत्री याविषयी
मुख्यमंत्र्यांसोबर चर्चा करतात. एक दिवस बातमी येते व दुस-या दिवशी या
गरीबांच्या वेदनेचा आदिवासी मंत्री व या समाजाला विसर पडलेला असतो. कारण
"अपना काम बनता, भाड में जाये गोरगरीब जनता" असे आमचे राजकीय धोरण आहे.
जे लोक आमचे बोगस आदिवासींपासून संरक्षण करु शकत नाहीत ते आमचे वासनांध
लोकांपासून काय संरक्षण करणार.

ज्या आदिवासी विकास विभागाने व आमच्या राजकीय नेत्यांनी यांचे शोषण
थांबवून त्यांच्यासाठी पुनर्वसन प्रकल्प उभे करणे अपेक्षित होते. त्यांनी
यांच्यासाठी काहीही केले नाही. म्हणुनच माझ्यासारख्या याविषयाशी
दुरान्वये देखील संबंध नसलेल्या एका समाजाप्रती बांधिलकी असलेल्या
कार्यकर्त्याला याविषयात काम करावे लागले. आदिवासी विकास विभाग आमचे
आयुक्त व अधिकारी असतानाही आमच्यासाठी काम करीत नाही याची प्रचिती
आम्हाला याप्रकरणात देखील आली. याची अनेक उदाहरणे सांगता येतील.

कुमारीमातांच्या प्रश्नावर २०१५ पर्यंत शासनाने कोणतीही ठोस भूमिका किंवा
योजना आणली नसल्याचे शासनानेच मा. उच्च न्यायालयात जाहीर केले आहे. तसेच
आता या जनहित याचिकेची सुनावणी सुरु झाल्यानंतर कुमारीमातांच्या पुनर्वसन
प्रकल्पासाठी दोन महिन्यांपूर्वी ५ एकर जागा हस्तांतरित केल्याचे
प्रतिज्ञापत्र दिले आहे. हा मोठा विजय माझ्यासह अनेक आदिवासी
कार्यकर्त्यांचा आहे.

आता आदिवासी समाजातील माता भगिनिंचे रक्षण करु इच्छिणा-या प्रत्येक
प्रामाणिक व निष्ठावान कार्यकर्त्यांनी डोळ्यात तेल घालून कामाला लागले
पाहिजे. काही अडचणी असल्यास मला ९८२२७ ६५५३१ या क्रमांकावर जरुर संपर्क
करा. समाजाला न्याय देण्याची फक्त व्हॉटस अपवर चर्चा करण्यापेक्षा
निश्चितच भरीव व कायमस्वरुपी काम एकत्रितपणे करु या.

आता या पुनर्वसन पर्कल्पा साठी निधी उभारने बिल्डिंग बांधने या भगिनी सन्मानाने उभ्या राहाव्यात म्हणून तिथे रोजगार निर्मिति ट्रेनिंग सेंटर हस्तकला चित्रकला समुपदेशन केंद्र विपणन व्यवस्थापन इ. गोष्टींची पूर्तता करणे गरजेचे आहे आणि सर्व आदिवासी समाजाची ही नैतिक जबाबदारी आहे

Not only that to rehabilitate these exploited women is important urgently, it is also needs to be brought to the notice of the High Court that precisely because of this reason that the Scheduled Areas have been protected from outsiders considering the vulnerability of the tribes. This unwed mother issue is an evidence to the need felt by the framers of the Constitution to protect the tribe which has not been done yet. The HC could be prayed to issue directives to the Hon. governor to do the assessment under the provisions of the Constitution in coordination with all the stakeholders and TAC for the need to regulate the migration of outsiders in all the tribal areas in the state.

I am willing to fight collectively in any way. Do let me know.

यवतमाळ जिल्यातील  मारेगाव, पांढरकवडा  व झरीजामिनी या भागात  कुमारी मातांचे प्रमाण सर्वात जास्त आहे. पत विवाह पद्धत  पूर्वी रूढ असल्यामुळे  विवाहापूर्वी  गरोदर राहणे हा कलंक नाही असे येथील काही जमातीत मानले जात होते .या पद्धतीत मुलीचा विवाह मुलाबरोबर तेव्हां लावला जाई जेव्हां  ती मुलगी त्या मुलापासून लग्नापूर्वी गरोदर राहत असे. परंतु ही पद्दत अलीकडच्या काळात काही कारणांमुळे अयशस्वी ठरली आहे . शिवाय
बाजूच्या राज्यातून ठेकेदार या भागात येऊन त्यांनी  अनेक  मुलींची  फसवणूक केली आहे.
  कुमारी मातांचे पुनर्वसन झालेच पाहिजे. परंतु त्याचबरोबर ही पतविवाह पद्धत कायदेशीर बंद केली पाहिजे. तसेच एखाद्या गावातील मजूर दुसऱ्या गावात/भागात नेण्यापूर्वी किंवा एखाद्या गावात दुसऱ्या गावातील मजूर आणण्यापूर्वी  ग्रामसभेची परवानगी घेणे आवश्यक असण्याचा जो नियम आहे त्याची काटेकोर अमलबजावणी झाल्यास अशा प्रकारांना आला बसेल.

Gedamaji,
Getting pregnant before marriage is the "Pat Vivah " system  appears to  be a customery law of kolam community and according  to me  it can only be stopped by resolution of  jont Gramsabhas  under pesa . Govt canot make any law against customs of tribes.
