I am Sachin Satvi, Tribal from Dahanu, Thane District. Wanted to know your opinion on bellow topic, so requesting all Tribal Intellectuals to share your views.

Let us establish knowledge exchange bridge for Tribal Empowerment, expecting your constructive suggestion for our tribal community.

As you know Thane district is large district & Differential in terms of administration. (Rapidly growing population in urban & sub urban, Development in Costal area, Lack of infrastructural development in Tribal region)

Present Thane District, is home for highest tribal population in State.

Thane District Partition is suppose to announce officially on 1^st May by Government. Considering 5^th Schedule, 6^th Schedule & PESA act for Tribal empowerment & Overall development. Option of Tribal district (TSP area) grabbing attention. People insist it will create good impact to flow Tribal Development fund in right way to tribal peoples & Much more

Already Tribal Activist came together & established “Adivasi Swayatt jilha Kruti Samiti”. With support from All Tribal Organisations in district (Involves support of 23major registered Tribal Organisations in district)

Question : Making Tribal District with TSP area, Will it be useful to Tribal Development?

Current Risk : TSP area will be merged with Industrial area like Vasai, Virar (Highly Non Tribal & Politically cantered area). Possible risk of again spending budgets on Nontribal area.
