4D Remote Web HTTP Server, Active4D session handling?

What is the latest Active4D plugin build that anyone is using for 4D Remote Web HTTP Server, Active4D session handling?

I’m in a staging meeting and I need to know as soon as possible.

 

I’m running v19.7, recent nightly build, on Windows.

We're currently testing on 4D Server v20R2 build 1000403. Active 4D plugin is  A4D v7.2r1

A4D runs on 4D Remote.

It seems my biggest A4D issue is that I can't seem to configure the SSL certificates with NTK. It says they're invalid, but I haven't spent a whole lot of time with it yet.

Please tell me you have used Active4D in 4D Remote in a v19 or earlier 4D build?

 

I can’t upgrade the project I’m about to deploy…

 

I’ve done SSL certs with NTK, perhaps I can help there.

Are the certs in PEM format?

 

I just constructed a cert.pem from 4 pem files.

 

With ssl=true

 

…the default path is “cert.pem”.

 

For 4D Remote this will be the get 4d folder(database folder)+”cert.pem”. (I think).

 

The pem file should have 3 or 4 parts to it:

 

cert.pem - unique site

sectigoRSA (or similar level)

USERTrustRSA (or similar level)

AAACertServices (or similar level)

Sorry ... we went from v16 right to v20. We're still v16 in production. It's a lot of work getting the rest of our database ready for v20. A4D was the easiest part of it.

The NTK certs work in v16. I just used the same ones since they're wildcard certs. I'm sure it's an easy fix, but since it's just staging and not publicly available I'm not as worried about it at the moment.

May I get you help looking at my system, comparing it with yours, to look for things I’ve missed.

 

You say you have 4D Remote/Active4D working.

 

V7.0r8 is failing in session memory for me in 4D Remote v19.7(recent nightly build)

V7.2.r1 is failing to run at all v20.1.100.919

 

I’d like to share my screen with you. Please let me know when we may have 10 minutes to do this. I’ll call your phone if you send me your number.
