Create Tickets from [Android] Mobile App... PLEASE?

...and all the other things we can't do...

Is it a fair request that the cell app be treated like a first class citizen?

My techs have been complaining about this for 2 years.

We can't even delete them... And here is the sadpart: all of this is already available in simple HTML API... I use it all the time from RMM...

Which means one thing:

The app is only there to check a box off against competitors. No money or effort to improve it. I've worked at companies that did the exact same thing.

Too bad...

Which app can do as much as Accelo? Did Accelo promise to be all things to all people? Can any developer work on every detail every five minutes, or do they need to prioritise?

Does the continual harping about your issue do anything other than to fill my inbox?

I agree with Kieran,

Compared to other products, Accelo is miles ahead and the mobile app rocks. Love using it. Granted, there are a couple of minor things it would be cool to add to it (including making tickets and other things), but wow it’s good :D.

Very thankful for all of Accelo’s brilliant product and support. Also so impressed with their quick development and continuous improvement of their solution.

All the best,
Daniel

Hi there! I am Saagar, from Accelo's Client Success team. I think it's best we go through context and a workaround for your requested result.

1. If you would like an improvement, I strongly recommend going through our ideas' forum. You can review our blog post about our commitment to your feedback here!

2. Being able to create a ticket is definitely something we want to be able to do from our Mobile App. The main reason it is not there is Progression Actions. When a ticket is created, you can be prompted for sending template emails, custom fields filled out, uploading files within our Web App. Adding this functionality into our Mobile App is not just one, but several significant projects for our mobile team.

3. So let's talk about how people (including our team) workaround this today:

Long story short, you can create "Requests" in the mobile app that can be automatically converted into Sales/Tickets through triggers.

a) Create Request Type
b) Create a Trigger on the Request Type into a specific Sales/Ticket Type
c) Create Requests in your iOS or Android Mobile App

Happy to help you get that setup - just email experts...@accelo.com!
