Team WRG,

The following message applies to both the Accelerator and Campus crew, so please read thoroughly.

As we approach an upcoming University Inventory Audit, Dr. Wiggins has asked that we compile any old, unused or broken equipment that has a USM ID number. This is our only opportunity to removed these items from our inventory without excessive "hoop jumping." We have about 2 weeks to make this happen (deadline is the second week of July).

Additionally, if we find something that does not have a USM ID, but likely should (i.e. $$$$$), please make note of its details and location so we can ensure the ID tag was not removed or lost.

I'll be sending an email out every few days with a reminder, as this is an important step for us keeping our equipment up-to-date and our labs free of excess items.

Campus crew (grad & undergrads) - Please start placing items on the table outside of Joe's office. Let's begin with electronics (old monitors, computer towers, scales, etc). Accelerator crew, please setup your own collection method, and I'll check back in on July 3rd.

Contact me with any questions you might have. Thanks!

Hey,

If you have any unused computer monitors, Jessica Douglas is looking for one for the SEM.

Team WRG,

The items for purge the first part of this week include vacuum pumps and hot plates. We're often short on these items, so we need to make the decision if we're going to make any efforts to fix them, but only if someone (meaning you) is going to take it upon themselves to do this.

We also need to be thinking about equipment in the back bay (Brian and Andy) and processing lab (Amit and Andrew). Contact me with any questions.

Thanks y'all. Happy Monday. Science on.
Kyler

I'm pretty savvy with electronics. I'd enjoy trying to fix those hot plates. I've done similar jobs in the past and I own one of my own.
