I'm pleased to announce that the NoR for the Adm. Byrd Cup regatta is now posted on the CYC website. The listed classes are:
A Class catamaran
Albacore*
Buccaneer*
Chesapeake 20
C420
Flying Scot*
Hampton
Laser ILCA7*
Optimist (Green / Novice)
Penguins
Shields one design

As you can see, we're trying to be very inclusive as we want this regatta to be a premier event on the Chesapeake. Many thanks to all you A catters who signed up to join. As we get closer, I'll keep you informed. I'll be working on the city to get parking and beach launching at Great Marsh park, just like in the old days.

If any of you have connections to the Albacore, Flying Scot, Chesapeake 20, and Laser sailors, please give them some encouragement to come.

I look forward to seeing all of you this coming summer.

Cheers,
David

David,

I'll forward to the fleet captains for the Flying Scot and Albacore fleets which are both currently pretty active at WRSC.  I doubt there would be any interest among the Chesapeake 20 fleet (I don't think that any of their trailers are road worthy and they generally don't stray very far from the West River), and the Laser fleet is pretty non-existent.  I'll discuss putting a general announcement on our website with our communications guy and we'll do that if possible.

That said, I am looking forward to it!

Jahn
