I think Sunday May 31st might be a club race day. Is anyone thinking about racing next Sunday?

John.  How does the Sunday club racing work for catamaran?   I could be persuaded to sail if other cats are sailing.

I am with Phil! Do cats get a separate start? How short is the distance? Etc. Please let us know, I may drive up there if it’s any fun.

Hey Topsy Turvy Phil and Iron Man Vlad,
I made a mistake. There is no club race this Sunday. I don't know why I thought there was. Apologizes.
WRSC host Sunday Series races throughout the season. Not every Sunday. Probably about twice a month. All fleets are invited. Cats get a separate start. Race Committee will set up a course. Races start at 1:00pm.
Even though this Sunday is not a WRSC Sunday Series race, it will most likely turn into a ROMP. Completely different!
ROMP is an acronym Superman Ed Mills created. It stands for Retirees Outreach Mentorship Program. Essentially it means that we are going to get together and sail. Depending on who shows up we might set a race course much like Tuesday nights or we might just sail around. Anyone can suggest a ROMP. Stay tuned to the email group thing.
So far only Leith and I have expressed interest in sailing this Sunday. Hopefully others will join us.

I tried hard yesterday but 3kts of breeze wasn't enough for a nose dive!

Hi guys,
Looks like Sunday May 31st will be an excellent ROMP day.
I will be sailing with Eric on his Nacra 20
Leith will sail his F16 Blade
Topsy Turvy Phil will sail his Acat
Ken will sail his Acat
Iron Man Vlad and Wrong Way John Geiger said maybe. On the fence. unable to commit. just can't quite pull the trigger.
Let's plan to launch at 1:00pm. Eric and I will meet early, do some boat repairs, rig, eat some snacks and will be ready to go at 1:00.
