Has anyone used the launching anchor I brought to the club?

I brought 2 of them to the club a couple of weeks ago and left them by my parking space.   Only one remains.

Bobby,  I used it last week.  Thought I restowed it.  I'll look around tomorrow and see if I can find it.  My apologies.

Phil

Phil, Great. I'm glad you had the oppo]rtunity to use it.  The intent is to leave them in the water so we don't have to set and retrieve them each time we go out.  I just haven't had the opportunity to set them out.

One anchor is in the water. I tripped over it tonight.

Bobby,  I retrieved the anchor and it's under your boat with its partner.  I think these need a little float to keep the bitter end afloat.  The poly pro line with a little silt on it was almost neutral and floating below the surface so hard to see.  Otherwise it worked great.

Thanks,
Phil

Darn I was hoping it would work without floats.  It is supposed to be float rope. I hate to use them. They always seem to get caught on my winglets.  I will bring some floats next week.

Having community anchorages is a wonderful idea. Thanks

It worked fine when first put out...but after a week in the water the line was underwater.

I have some small floats.  I'll bring them next week and reset the anchors.
