All,

Just in case someone has dealt with something like this. I have a RPI 5 running Android to control my N7500. Since the RPI does not have GPS, I using a program to spoof the location that is ironically the correct location. The spoofing program doesn't always run 24/7.

It's too bad the HT software doesn't have an option to specify a location when it is used as a digipeater.

Has anyone used a RPI running Android with their N7500 and been able to add GPS for location to their pi?

Thanks,

Yes I did last year before it stop running. Was running an android RPI software with gps spoofing app. But after fiew month, the HT stop working and was unsuccessful made it work.

Then i upgrade my Android tablet, and keep the old one dedicated for this task. (but try with an old android phone with damage screen before for a while)

Since, i create a go-box with a movable plate to move the radio from my desk to the go box. Tablet then become a good portable choice
