N7500 VHF TX Failure - Repair Solution

There has been several reports of failure of the TX side on VHF and a repair has been found.

Resoldering of the small chip (I think its pre driver to the main pa chip.)  

 

 

Rig powered off and a very small fine iron just touch the joints and its been reported that it does the job. 

I can confirm it works as I had a VHF TX problem, so radio is back working.

Must be a bad joint when manufactured which shows up later.

I had that issue last week, followed your instructions yesterday and the problem was solved.

Tried your solution and it didn't work.  That's too bad.  I liked the radio, but I won't buy another.

Sorry to hear you haven't had success and I wonder if you have tried a new chip which were cheap on eBay..
