Table Mountain Trailers - Saturday 21st March 2026 - Silvermine 3 Lookouts and a Peak

This Saturday 21st March we'll return to our favourite ol' Silvermine circuit: "Three Lookouts and a Peak".
Starting from the dam car park, we head up to the Tokai fire lookout, then along the single track to the Blackburn Lookout, and finally along either the Panorama path or the Jeep Track but either way vía Noordhoek Peak to the Noordhoek Lookout.
The Crassula Path, an alternative to the Panorama trail, will be taken by the relaxed group (and those who don’t like exposure).
From Noordhoek Lookout back to the start there are several single track options for the group leaders to choose from on the morning, including an extension down the River Walk to the main gate and back up.
The route consists of jeep track and single track.
Pack a cozzie for a dip afterwards!
Rendezvous and Start Time
Gate opens at 7.00 am, subject to confirmation in Friday's email. RV in the car park at the dam ready to start running at 7:15 am
Time & Distance
We will aim to do 10 -12 km – taking in the region of 2-2.5 hours. Our runs are pack runs and we will split into a few pace groups on the day.
Walking Group: To be confirmed on Friday.
What to bring
R44 CASH (no credit cards because there's no signal) or MyGreen Card or Wild Card.
Water, whistle, warm, wind or waterproof top depending on weather and your ICE information.
Important: Please remember to look behind you at every turn in the route to make sure the people behind you see which way you are going.
Leaders of each group will ensure that no-one is left behind. Please keep the groups together and ensure that no-one is left on their own.
No Dogs allowed on our runs.

Hi Trailers,
Confirming that we’ll be meeting at the Silvermine dam tomorrow morning as soon as possible after 7am.
Please note that there’s no signal up there so no way to let us know if you’re running late. We’ll wait until 7.20 am in case there’s a queue at the gate, then we’ll be running.
Also please bring your R44 in CASH as the lack of signal means no credit card transactions. Alternatively the Wild Card or My Green Card*
The weather looks dry but cool so dress accordingly. Maybe too cool for a swim?
*To buy a My Green Card: the Tokai Office is open today until 3:45 (closed 12:30 – 13.00).
There’s also an office at Kloofnek. Monday–Friday 7:30 AM–12:30 PM, 1:00 PM–4:00 PM and Saturday 8:00 AM–1:00 PM
