Two pieces of good news.

First, the Staten Island to Brooklyn ferry connection launched this morning and some of us from Transportation Alternatives were there. It was cold but wonderful.

Second, I recently saw this article. (De-)Congestion fees are working! The ball is in your court, Chicago.

So I'm assuming that one can go  straight from St. George to Bay Ridge and back.

Yes. If you get off at Bay Ridge (that is, if you’re actually *going* there, rather than just going for a ride as we did), you can catch a ferry on the return route.

The whole trip is from Battery Park City to Pier 11/Wall Street with stops along the way. Then the boat returns in the reverse order.

Thanks for the congestion article Karen. I hope that the less congestion is noticeable when on the streets. I don't think that I have been in the congestion zone since the fees started.
I want to add that the trip on the ferry from St. George to Bay Ridge, took less than 10 minutes!

That's good to know. I'm going to look up the schedule.
