June 22, 2017 (RUMBEK) – At least 35 people have been killed in
revenge attacks that occurred in South Sudan’s Western Lakes state
between Rup and Pakam communities of Rumbek Central county.

The clashes, local officials told Sudan Tribune, erupted when a
pastoralist was reportedly shot dead by a suspected armed youth.
Up to 40 people were reportedly wounded during the same attack.
A Criminal Investigation Department (CID) officer in Rumbek County
described it as the ever fight that ended without state intervention.
Meanwhile the Commissioner of Alor County, Stephen Mathiang Deng
denied allegations that security forces failed to intervene.
He urged the national government to seek a quick solution to end
cycles of revenge attacks in Western Lakes state capital, Rumbek.
Cycles of revenge attacks become rampant in the region in the
aftermath of Matur Chut Dhuol’s re-appointment as governor by
President Salva Kiir early this year. Dhuol replaced Abraham Makoi
Bol.

Matur Chuot was the one creating all this choas, he does not
know even to separate tow fighting chicken leave alone people.
I heard he was celebrating when he heard Rup and Pakam are fighting.
Shame on Salva Kiir who re-appointed him.

Who will enforce then the law of disarmament @ Ayieu Makuac?
President Kiir is the one leading the Nation, he’s responsible for
everything good or bad.

Ayuiu,
Bullshit, disarm these jienges and they will start using
spears, remove the spears they will turn to sticks and clubs and there
are plenty of trees and bushes in jiengeland. If that also fails maybe
just cutoff their hands so they dont do silly things. In 2012 over 90
people in same area got killed due to quarrels over a bamboo stalk for
hanging mosquito net. Wow!

@jubaone
you are damn right man, this habit of fighting runs deep
in Jienge VIEN. its actually there essence, I have been saying ever
since I joined this forum, these mammals are still in state of early
ape, they are yet to evolve into sensible humans beings. so fighting
for them is compulsory, its a must, obligation, pleasure or relive. so
this is the kind of creatures God has place us with.

Theallseeineye,
Right. Do yo know why Jienges dreadfully fear to stay
in their luaks? Cos of revenge killings. Even the Kiirminal can’t
afford to go to Warrap cos they would gun him down. Equatorians have
been toooo kind allowed these savages in our areas. That is why we
must fight to throw them out. Now most areas are "jienge-free". Great.

Theallseeingeye,
Who cares if they butcher themselves to death as
long as takes place in jiengeland, that is fine. But once that gets to
Equatoria, we must act swiftly and aggressively. Our biggest challenge
isn’t these savages in Nimule. They have squatted 4 2 long. It’s time
they got back Bor. But these cowards fear Nuers and Murles. We must
act like them so to get them out. Spread the news.

Yes Kiir is a leader of the nation who is supposed to implement
law of everythings which is against South Sudanese citizen.
Stability is not needed by the Kiir and Matur Chut in W. Lakes State.

Brothers and sisters the change will not come from Kiir or
government, the change will come people if they know themselves they
will die like that, if kiir left today the most dangerous president
will come because the good leader will come from good people, if
people of South Sudan acknowledge God and fear him.
