Nuer Community in the US Rejects any Meeting with and Denounces the Illegitimate Vice President, Taban Deng Gai.
NEBRASKA – In a strong worded press release seen by the Upper Nile Times correspondence today September 20, 2016, the Nuer Community Leadership in North America has rejected and denounced any attempt by illegitimate First Vice President Taban Deng to have meeting with Nuer Communities. The community leadership strongly expressed the position of the community members across North America that “upon learning about the intentions of Taban Deng Gai – Mr. Kiir’s illegitimate Vice President, the Nuer Community in North America in general and the US in particular is dismayed and appalled by the ignorance and the foolishness of the man in the person of Taban Deng Gai” the message read.
“In the Nuer culture and value system, there are certain things that are forbidden and unforgivable once committed. On top of the list is betrayal and shedding, or attempt to shed blood of innocent for the sake of food, power or position” read the message.
“After conspiring to but failing to assassinate Dr. Riek Machar, whose only crime was calling for full and unconditional implementation of the peace agreement, with the help of President Kiir, the Nuer Community has, since then, expelled and disown Mr. Taban Deng Gai”
Taban Deng has since been the prime suspect until his ill executed plan on July 8, 2016, which resulted into the killing of innocent Nuer sons and daughters in Juba.
“His elevation to the FVP position is inconsequential as this was done after he was dismissed from the SPLM-IO, and the Nuer Community sees him as nothing more than President Kiir’s project to once and for all get rid of the peace agreement, cancel the hybrid court provision, and implement the 28 states project that takes chunks of land from other communities and annex them to the Dinka areas giving 55% of South Sudan’s land mass to the Dinka. But as a project, he has already failed miserably as he does not have an iota of support in the Nuer land. It is, therefore, a matter of time before the master discards and throws him into the dumpster like Dr. Marial Benjamin, who repeatedly denied and downplayed the Juba Nuer Massacre.”
“Though the 28 states project must be reversed in due time, or it will never see the light of day in the Nuer land, the Nuer Community in the US does not want to see the face of Taban Deng Gai and his Nuer coconspirators, money and job hunters – who have also been expelled and disowned by their respective Nuer clans, much less meet with them.”
Simon Khot Hoth, the Nuer Community Secretary General in the Office of Nuer Community Development Service in United States concluded that, “they are not welcome in the Midwest or any other state in the US where members of the Nuer community reside. If they do, it will be at their peril and the Nuer community will take no responsibilities for whatever fate may meet them. We understand they are carrying boatloads of money to pay people off, transport them to their meetings – possibly in Washington, DC or New York, and then boast fake support. The community will monitor those who are in the money market, who dare to attend these fake meetings, and they will be disowned and expelled as well.”
Mr. Hoth, then, continues to say “We only recognize Dr. Riek Machar as the legitimate First Vice President of the Republic of South Sudan.”
The violence has claimed more than hundreds of thousands people with the recent number reaching more than 300 people on July 8, 2016, and unaccounted number of people across Juba. Dr. Machar, the legitimate First Vice President was than dislodged as a pretext to abrogate peace implementation for which the International Community failed to condemn. “For South Sudan to realize peace, Dr. Machar must be reinstated to his position as the First Vice President” the community warned.
