South Sudan’s President Salva Kiir has removed the head of military
intelligence in the SPLA army from active military service and moved
him to Foreign Service as third grade ambassador at the Ministry of
Foreign Affairs.
President Kiir, according to the order announced by the state-owned
South Sudan Broadcasting Corporation on Wednesday, removed General
Marial Nuor Jok from the directorate of Military Intelligence (MI). No
immediate replacement was announced.
A second order by Kiir appointed Nuor as an ambassador at the foreign ministry.
