This is the first time the groups of different organizations within

several rural areas since the outbreak of war in Yei last year.
On Wednesday last week, a convey of aid agencies headed by UNOCHA,
ACROSS, UNHCR, AAH, UMCOR and other NGOs delivered humanitarian
services to local residents in Logo Payam in Otogo County and Goli
Payam in Tore County.
Speaking to Radio Tamazuj, Yei River County Health Director Michael
Lugala appreciated the humanitarian organizations for extending their
services to the vulnerable population in the two rural areas.
Lugala renewed his call on the government and the opposition to
continue granting unhindered access to the rural areas.
For their part, several residents in Logo and Goli areas confirmed the
delivery of food, medicines and vaccines for children and pregnant
mothers.
