Tonj South County Wildlife Officer in Warrap State warned residents against crocodiles at the river bank.

Malok Mading Wol said the river is still full and brought dangerous reptiles including crocodiles, snakes and hippopotamus, Don Bosco Radio reported.

He urged parents to take care of their children and not allow them to go to swim, take bath or wash clothes at the river bank.

Mr Malok pledged to deploy wildlife officers to guard the river to prevent children and any one entering into the river.

The Wildlife Officer gave the advice after a big snake at the river bank on Tuesday horrified residents.
