Dear Sirs,

Sealing orders issued to EPF Office,sec-23,Dwarka. This huge office was illegally drawing humongous amount of ground water for central cooling.

The EPFO officials asked for 15 days time (on 31 May 2015) to show the permissions for the tube well. As per an R.T.I reply No DJB/SE(S.W)/2014/1707/RTI/1180, DJB has no record of any permission granted to EPFO Complex, Plot No. 23, Sector-23, Dwarka, New Delhi

(LandLine),9818920899(Mobile) Grievance Details Sir, I want to bring in your notice that EPFO Complex Plot No 23 Sector 23, Dwarka, New Delhi 110077 is extracting ground water without due permissions as Dwarka falls under South West District of Delhi which was declared a Notified Area by Central Ground Water Authority CGWA The EPFO office is drawing ground water through tube well for its central cooling system, whose permission could not be confirmed by Delhi Jal Board. On a complaint (Complaint no – 201520881 in NCT Grievance Portal, dated 8/ 5/ 2015) the SDM office staff inspected the said office complex on 31/ 5/ 2015 and the Officials of EPFO Complex Plot No 23 Sector 23, Dwarka, New Delhi 110077 were unable to furnish the mandatory permission required for construction and installation of any structure for abstraction of ground water at the said office complex. The EPFO officials asked for 15 days time (on 31 May 2015) to show the permissions for the tube well. As per an R.T.I reply No DJB/ SE(S.W)/ 2014/ 1707/ RTI/ 1180, DJB has no record of any permission granted to EPFO Complex, Plot No. 23, Sector-23, Dwarka, New Delhi. Please send your staff to the said office to verify the so called permission and ensure that the illegal extraction of water by EPFO Complex is stopped forthwith. Guys,

The same S.D.M had earlier shirked responsibility by saying that " said premises is a Govt. building and they stated that they will submit the documentary proof within 15 days regarding bore well."

When prodded again after 15 days, SDM office took 2 months to send inspection team again.

There is also a strong case to protest for drawing water in an illegal way/manner by the contractors at DMRC fabrication site. Surprise inspection needs to be carried by DJB vis a vis authorise Bore Wells.

Water stealing is the main reason the ground water levels are decreasing at a faster pace than the nature can refurbish it.my farm in haryana has five illegal tube wells by others on my property with illegal electric connections and I have been trying to stop those responsible for five years .this is all with connivanceof local dishonest officials in water and electric boards with heavy bribes.
Till administration's get honest this is just band aid on one spot when bleeding is going on around everywhere.
Your efforts are praiseworthy.
