Rehearsal this Thursday

Ok, I've seen the email from the band council saying the band room is not available for the jazz band until February. I could easily arrange the barn for us, but I am currently working for a better solution that accommodates members that are in both groups better.

I don't want a situation where people have to choose which rehearsal to attend. The point of this organization is to provide an experience both for jazz bands and concert band folks. I don't wish to undercut the work the other group does. 

Anyways, thank you for your patience. I am hoping to provide a solution to you as soon as possible

Update:

The only thing the board has proposed so far is that we choose a different day and location to rehearse. They don't want me rehearsing on the same day at a different location, but for a reason I am not entirely sure of, they will not change the location of concert band's rehearsal.

I already know a change of day is a non-starter. It won't work.

So that leaves me with an unfortunate decision to make. Do I:

1. Just fall on the sword and cancel rehearsal for 2 weeks to accommodate concert bands needs?
2. Do I just tell them I'm gonna rehearse on Thursday at the barn and I don't care what they say, or if there are musicians that will be grossly late or not attending their rehearsal at all?

I'm going to be blunt. I hate both of these. I will keep trying to get the board to change their mind and move both bands to a new venue, but I am worried they have already made up their mind and this is the final decision. I don't understand why this is happening at all, and why they are forcing this on me/us. I'm sure they have their reasons whatever the case is.
