In case you’re interested, here’s what I know about how the Segrè chart has evolved.
Nuclear chemists began using the Nuclear Wallet Cards, where isotopes are organized by atomic number (Z) and, within each Z, by mass number (A). Each new edition incorporated newly discovered isotopes (essentially the nuclear-chemistry counterpart to adding new elements to the periodic table/spiral):
Building on these and other datasets, the Segrè chart was updated in NuDat 2 (after the 7th edition) and in NuDat 3 (after the current 9th edition). I’ve attached both versions (you have to zoom in order to read each cell).
