Hi Fred,
The Gali 84+ version I have to versions. One that is only connected through the SMAs and one where I have added home made VIAs. I see no difference when I measure power output. They are powered with 5V from a USB charger.
The size of the board is 20x40mm. I don't think I need to have
more than 2-3mm thick sheet of copper that is about 20x30mm or
roughly 1"x1"x1/8". It might even work with a small aluminum heat
sink like Rod suggested.
