Hi all
I'm new to printing instruments but not new to 3d printing; although I do still use Cura (with all options on)) haha
After dehydrating some FOUR years old rPLA (Filamentive) and calibrating the printer (CR-10 early version with the 8 bit Marlin board) I'm running a first print of a neck for the Modular Fiddle.
Can anyone tell me what the printed dimensions w*l*h should be when completed please.
I want to a: make sure Cura has got it right (it has screwed me 5% on an intricate fit print before now)
and b: make sure I am printing to the intended size when the print is complete.
I'm really looking forward to playing about with this and building a modular. I have some Colorfab CFPLA that I got given for free, but before I use that on a body I want to run off some old reels of PLA and make sure I'm getting the right dimensions.
As a side-note request; what torture tests have successful printers (as in you folk who printed a Modular successfully) done to calibrate your stringing settings etc... particularly if you printed via a CR-10 also
Anyway, as I say I'm really looking forward to this print, and I eventually plan to give the Hovalin 5 a bash too afterwards.
Cheers
Jay
