For Connectathon testing of these IHE profiles, we define three Affinity Domains. Each of these affinity domains is associated with its own Patient ID assigning authority. XDS Document Registry and XC* Gateway actors are assigned to one of the domains for the entire Connectathon week. For returning participants, this is the same “red/green/blue” scheme we have used for many years at both North American & European IHE Connectathons. If this is your first IHE Connectathon, we have documentation on this topic that you should review: http://gazelle.ihe.net/content/connectathon-multiple-affinity-domain-testing. Please see this google spreadsheet that assigns Registry & Gateway actors to one of the 3 Patient ID domains for Connectathon week. If I made an error associated with your system, please contact me.
This section applies to XDS Registries, XC* Gateways, PDQ* Suppliers, and PIX* Managers. To support Connectathon testing of Document Sharing and Patient ID Management profiles, we have a set of test patients that we ask some server actors to load on their systems prior to Connectathon. The Gazelle PatientManager tool enables you to load these on your system via an HL7v2 or HL7v3 feed, or using HL7 FHIR Patient Resources. These demographics are ready for the upcoming Connectathon. Test systems that need to preload patients will find instructions in pre-Connectathon test “Preload Connectathon Patients” on your pre-Connectathon test list in Gazelle Test Management under menu Connectathon—>Pre-Connectathon—>Pre-Connectathon Testing.
