Hi Veena,

There are 2 questions in this image. Which question do you have a doubt with? And, what is your doubt?

Cheers

You are very kind. I will benefit too.

One thing I am curious about - how will you get traffic to the group?

Secondly, will I get emails if anyone posts or do I go to the group?

Take care!

Monica

Monica,

We have more than 300 members of this group right now. But, they are not yet using this forum to it's full potential for their advantage.

We are continuously informing schools, teachers and students about this forum through various outreach programs. Hopefully, the numbers and engagement will increase.

Every member gets an email for all group communication. You can set your preference of daily digest or individual post notifications.

And, u don't need to visit the group to post too. Any email sent to the email id of the group automatically becomes a post and every member gets it.

Cheers

Yes. In fact that is the real purpose of this community. One asks.... And gets many answers.

And solving problems for others is the best way to learn. 😊

Suraj,

Most of the members of this group are students and teachers of classes 9 to 12. So, they may not be comfortable with higher level mathematics.

However, there are some people in the group who are doctorates in mathematics and they may be willing to help you out with your doubts. But, the best way would be not to post a question but to post your doubt. Let me elaborate on what I mean.

If you post a question, a person who wants to help will have to solve the entire problem and then type it in. This will require more time. However, if you post the problem with a specific query such as:
  • I don't know how to start this problem;
  • I can do the first steps but then I get stuck at a particular step.
  • I need to understand why a particular step is needed/valid etc
In these cases, chances are high that your doubt will be resolved.

I hope this helps.
Cheers
Atul
