Hi

I recorded a script which is https that means it needs to go though proxy.

I defined the proxy url as well as login credential and replay in VUGEN without error.

When I loaded in controller, I get tonnes of error: Error -27794 Failed to connect to server "proxy.abc.com:8080" [10051] network is unreachable

I pinged the proxy url in the controller server and it is reachable.

The application I recorded can manually open using IE in the controller server.

I replay the script in the VUGEN and it is no error.

Appreciate if they are any hint for me to understand the issue.

Note: I run the controller using load generator with IP spoofing.

Thanks

Check in the run time settings of the controller for the proxy enabled run.

The error message clearly states: the "server ... is unreachable" from your load generator -- thus not the controller or the machine on which Vugen is used.

According to Microsoft the error means:
"A socket operation was attempted to an unreachable network. This usually means the local software knows no route to reach the remote host."
https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/ms740668(v=vs.85).aspx

Are you sure you need the proxy to run the script(s) from your load generator?
