Hi Everyone,
I have successfully Installed THERM. However, the application cannot open due to missing DLL files Error.
libifcoremd.dll

Also tried reinstalling, but the same error keeps coming back. I also tried to repair using the THERM7_7_07_SetupSmall.exe. but still get the same result.
Appreciate your help on how to resolved this problem.
Thanks.

Regards,
Rudy

Thanks to Robin Mitchell.

Did you install the 2 redistributable libraries linked on the THERM download page? Just copying the missing files from a website may not do it.

Also, once you install those redistributables, if the program still doesn't find them, you should copy them into the THERM executable directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\LBNL\THERM7.7) or possibly the LBNL Shared directory in Program Files (C:\Program Files (x86)\LBNL\LBNL Shared), not the LBNL Shared directory in C:\Users.

Unfortunately you shouldn't have to jump through such hoops to get the program installed, but for now, because of licensing issues, you, the user, has to figure all this stuff out.

Sigh ...

Hi Robin, I have had the same problem. I installed the visual studio redistributable files as you suggested (X86: vc-redis.s86.exe) , restarted the computer and reinstalled Therm 7 but Therm7 is still reporting the same error:

 missing libifcorem.dll , lifmmd.dll and svml-dispmd.dll

you say that these files can be manually installed but could you say where can they be downloaded from?

I am running Windows 10 pro

many thanks - David Jamieson

There is also a fortran library that needs to be installed, also linked from the download page.
