Hi, I wonder if anyone can tell me if it's possible to run THERM or WINDOW on an M1 mac running Big Sur. From what I understand so far, I may be able to do this using Parallels and installing the Windows 10 ARM preview, but I'm not sure if THERM will run on that Windows 10 ARM preview.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

I'm bumping this question again just in case anyone can give me any suggestions before I give up on the idea of trying to run THERM on my mac.

I've successfully used Therm with Parallels Desktop 16 on a Mac (not M1) running Big Sur (v 11.5.2). It slows other software down a bit!

Thanks. Unfortunately it's the M1 bit that's critical though.

3 months later... I'm wondering if anyone can report success with an M1 mac yet?

Googling Windows OS on M1 Mac, it seems that Parallels supports the M1, so I suggest you try that.

Thank you, but if you see my original post, the question is whether THERM can run on the ARM version of windows, because that's all you can install under Parallels on an M1 mac.

This is probably no longer relevant and the original poster has likely resolved the issue, but for anyone interested THERM runs perfectly well on Parallels 18 on an M1 Macbook Air running Windows 11 ARM version,

Therm can be used in coherence mode, so operates like a standard application without Windows getting in the way.

There are no perceptible speed differences from using a standalone PC.
