In an earlier email to you Ken suggested that widening of the lanes could take place when undergrounding of the utility lines occurs.  This makes a great deal of sense, in fact it's perhaps the best opportunity we'll ever have to make a change of this magnitude.  Apparently undergrounding will start this Fall so I suggest now is the time to start a campaign to for wider lanes.  As a start we should bring this to the attention of both the town manager and FDOT.

Attached a two signs in use in Naples.  They would be great additions to local roads.

Excellent suggestions.  But also, we need signs indicating that the lanes are for bike rides only.  I have encountered people walking alone or with dogs especially in the southbound lane where there is no sidewalk.   Not a major issue but it does occur.   Joel Cooperman
