A young man wanted to take a girl to the prom. She was so popular that he had to get in line. When he went to buy the tickets there was a long line. When he rented his tux, he had to wait in line. At the florist shop he had to wait in line for the corsage. When he and his date arrived at the door they had to wait in line. Inside, she asked him to get her some punch.

There was no punch line.

Yesterday I was given a slow injection in the palm for my tenosynovitis.
The practitioner told me the anesthetic was like what I'd receive dentally.
I said I refuse such things at my dentist's:
"I'm trying to transcend dental medication."
