Hi,
Does anyone have a version of this?
Before I start buying big sheets of UHMW Starboard....
Something where your Co-Pilot/Admiral can have an elevated view/lookout on the high windward stern quarter, while commenting on your lack of attention to tell-tails/the ferry/when-are-you-gonna-get-your-hair-cut comments etc? Oh, and of course.....you guessed it....Stern looks....?

A pal  had some Starboard, so we created these seats in a few minutes. Great for letting a person steer while you can sit comfortably and see over his/her shoulder.

Very slick. Folding seats - how cool. Excellent use of pool noodles, too.

They are great seats. Everyone has to remember that they are located in the danger zone during tacks and gybes.

In the interest of everything onboard doing double duty, I put (2) A2 or A3 (don't remember the size but they are about 18" in diameter) inflatable buoys/fenders wedged in each corner between the pushpit and the combing.  They make for very comfortable bouncy seats and are great fenders for the rough pier or large piling that have a too irregular of a surface for conventional fenders to work properly.  They don't get in the way of the mainsheet either, no maintenance and works well.
