little eve of christmas 'bee

you are so little

you are more like a flower

who found you in the blue sky

and were you very sorry to come down?

see          i will play with you

because you fly so sweetly

i catch your cool plastic

and hug you safe and tight

just as your mother would,

only don't be afraid

look          the deep hucks

that sleep all week in a dark box

dreaming of being taken out and allowed to fly,

the cuts the flicks short and deep the cheeky swings

put out your little arms
and i'll give a pull for you to hold

every dump shall have it's swing

and there won't be a single player glum or unhappy

then when you're quite dressed
you'll stand on wilson field for everyone to see

and how they'll chase

oh but you'll be very proud

and my teammates and i will take hands

and look up at our flying 'bee

we'll run and jump
