Well, it’s doing it again. I have a new computer and I’m getting it set up. As has happened in the past, I set PEM Editor to a Dockable window and move it off my main monitor onto the laptop’s monitor. Exactly the way I’ve worked for a long time on the old laptop. I’ve tried all kind of ways to save it, close it, move it, then close it, stand on my head, use my left hand to click the mouse, even. It always forgets that it’s dockable and reappears on the main screen when reopened. I’ve mentioned this in the past, but I don’t think anyone had a solution. Fortunately, what happens is that at some point after I reset it and use it a number of times, it decides to stick. I have no idea why it won’t save it to start with or why it later decides to save the settings (dockable, size, position). It’s some sort of bug, but I don’t have much more info on the issue.

I'm not surprised you're having this unfortunate problem.

PemEditor does not always handle multiple monitors well as the code relies strictly on _Screen.Height and _Screen.Width with code like this:

The intent is to ensure that form is always visible.  The effect for you is to move the form back onto your main monitor.
