How to find average salary according to the Month.

Hello Pratibhaji,

Try below function for sum of July as per your sheet.
=SUMIF(D2:D13,">="&DATE(2013,7,1),E2:E13)-SUMIF(D2:D13,">"&DATE(2013,7,31),E2:E13)

If you want to SUM from different Date range, type first Date in cell I1 and second date in cell J1 and use below function.
=SUMIF(D2:D13,">="&I1,E2:E13)-SUMIF(D2:D13,">"&J1,E2:E13)

Thanks for your help.

The formula which is shared by you is working for Sum calculation for the month of July.

I want to calculate average salary for the month of July.

Kindly help and suggest other formula for the same.
