Hi folks.
I am a member of the Secular Hub in Denver. The lease is up on the
current building we occupy. We have stored our furniture and equipment
in a moving/storage pod and are in the process of searching for another
building.
I am not sure if a permanent meeting space is useful for skeptics,
humanists, athiests, etc but I am happy that I found and joined the
group years ago. There is a core membership who advocated for, funded,
and leased the space years ago, so they obviously
believe that a permanent meeting space is useful. I plan to
participate in the process of finding and funding a new space.
I thought you might be interested in a
recent article in Westword Magazine about the group. (No reason for
people in the Bay Area to donate to a group in Denver. Please don't
think I am suggesting that you do that. I just thought that you all
might be interested in what is a fairly unique
secular group here in Denver.)
