I...I just don't know whether to laugh or cry...


Alerted to the existence of this paper via Researchgate because it cites some of my papers. Several other papers on this "taxon" are referenced in the bibliography from 2025, all of which are given as published only via "Researchgate."

It seems Malkani has realized he can just upload PDFs of his nothingburgers to ResearchGate without paying for a vanity press journal to assign a DOI....

They're not all rocks. Ikquamishan's holotype ( https://www.researchgate.net/publication/396858949_Geology_and_Mineral_Resources_of_Some_Districts_of_Pakistan_Recent_Found_Paleontological_Sites_and_New_Titanosaur_from_Pakistan_and_First_Diplodocid_Dinosaur_from_Indo-Pakistan_and_Asia , Figure 4 row 1) looks pretty obviously like a sauropod proximal ulna, despite being identified as a humerus by Malkani (2025). Very sad situation though.
