Hi Rob. I saw your post on YouTube somewhere about the scoreboard.
Attached is the scoreboard HTML file from Tracey Boards. It is kludgy and takes some practice going through it, screwing it up, starting over, etc until you get the hang of it.
It helps to have two monitors. I put the video on Monitor 1 and then click the HTML file to open it in a browser tab on Monitor 2. Set the parameters for the scoreboard which is pretty straightforward. Then do a screen recording of Monitor 2, sizing the screen recording window to include the scoreboard only. Click on the video to start viewing the match. Click back on Monitor to to set the cursor's focus there. As the match proceeds, use the keyboard to keep score:
1 = shot with no 20 made
2 = 20 made
9 = 20 made for the opponent
when the game has finished:
4 = 2 points for the first team listed on the scoreboard
5 = tie so 1 point for each team
6 = 2 points for bottom team on scoreboard
You must pay close attention because there is no way to redo or correct the score once entered. You have to start from scratch (and you will!) if you screw up too badly.
Once the match is over, stop the screen recording. Pay attention to the location where your screen recordings are saved so you can find them easily.
Go into the video editing software and then import the scoreboard into the project. Drag the scoreboard onto the video, sync the timing of the scoreboard, adjust its size with picture-in-picture settings. Then go to the end of the match and cut out any "excess" scoreboard that extends beyond the conclusion of the match. Then you are done!
Let me know if you need any help. So far, I have not found an easier way.
Jamie
