When we first started the club back in the 80's/late 70's a lot of us used ''BUGs" as in Vibroplex among others where
one side makes automatic dots but the other side you had to make your ''own'' dashes the correct length by hand so it was
easy to just go dit dit ditdaaaaaaaaaah hahahhaa.
Yes that is how we did it, if you have a straight key, then that would be a good way to make the cluck cluck buckawwwwww sound
at the end of a CW transmission. I have a Vibroplex keyer paddle connected to a winkey program that allows me to set my paddle
up as a '''vibrobug''' so it works almost exactly like a 'real' bug. But as along as it sounds correct, nobody is going to throw
chicken fat at you.
