That was a cool article, David.  The British style of "pump handle" sending with the whole arm up in the air seems terribly awkward to me, but they make it work, somehow.  I didn't know we could get CQ Magazine at the library.

230 characters per minute BUT remember a word is counted at 5 characters, so in “words per minute” it’s 46 WPM

Sorry I usurped your article David, which was excellent by the way.

Here's the video clip I was talking about, with the guy using a "pump handle" at very high speed.
