Future direction for Friends of Bradford's Becks

FOBB has been going for twelve years.  We agreed at the meeting in July to have a 'thought-shower' to think about its future direction and the activities it wants to focus on for, say, the next 5 years.  This coincides with my retirement as chair by the end of 2025.

The meeting is now arranged for Monday 13th Oct.   There will be lunch from 12:30 and the thinking session will be 1:30-4:30, facilitated by Geoff Roberts.  In the large Hall in Saltaire Methodist church.

Some of our friends in Bradford Council, Yorkshire Water, the Environment Agency and ART have agreed to come, and it would be great to have as many FOBBs as possible.  Please put it in your diary now!  We will send out a questionnaire to canvas views in advance to help get the discussion going, to allow a say to anyone who can't make it on the day.

Hi Barney 

Please accept by apologies as I have clinic on that day 

I will pass on my thoughts to Rob or the questionnaire when comes through 

We do have a lot of folk joining on FB though limited participation at events/meetings 

Hopefully we will have a new chair and secretary depending on what the outcome will be at the meeting 

Joy is happy to keep doing FB admin when I last checked with Joy

I am happy to help at events etc though not an admin person more practical 

I will give Rob the SumUp machine unless you are coming to our next parkrun event at Bowling parkrun on 4 Oct (🙂)
