GUI for fdc-sds command (Linux/MacOS)

Hi there!

I just wanted to let you know that I have written a small GUI in Python for the fdc-sds command to load the dsk images for the Altair FDC+ (fdc-sds must be in the PATH).

I hope it's helpful!

Peter, I am getting the following:

zsh: bad CPU type in executable: ./fdc-sds-gui-macos

I am on an Intel Mac.

Yah, I reject Apple’s planned obsolescence. I’m too poor to replace computers just because Apple says it’s time for me to buy another one.

I did get it running from source.

What do you think about moving the entire serial server into your GUI and no longer needing the command line version?

Yes, this was compiled for Apple Silicon. I will provide another version for Intel on Mac.

I had only a few mins last night but did test enough to see I got past the previous bug I reported to you in Linux ..  so v0.03 looks promising !

Sorry call me old school ( or just Vintage) but I would still like to have a  CLI version as an option .   This way I can run on a headless Linux system like a PI..  or on in a tabbed  terminal program.

Honestly I try to limit my GUI apps I have running

I’m with you. I wasn’t thinking of replacing the CLI, just making the GUI version not dependent on it.

There is a new version 0.1.0 with the Serial Server included (and some other changes). If you want, please test the Linux and Mac Version.

@Patrick Linstruth Sorry, I can't build a MacOS version for Intel because no free runners are available.
