Getting an Accurate BOM for the Don Caprio mini-Front Panel board ...

Hi, 

This is what I don't like about the Don Caprio mini-Front Panel ... screwed-up BOMs.  In the BOM I have RR7 is 4.7KOhm NOT 47KOhm.  Then C3 and C4 are 0.001µF capacitors.  

After replacing the 4.7KOhm with a 47KOhm resistor array on the Don Caprio mini-Front Panel, neither EXAMINE or DEPOSIT or step through the addresses.  At least with the 4.7KOhm resistor array, I could see stepping through addresses with EXAMINE.  

I've attached what I have so far ... we need to be sure it's complete and then I can send it to John Monahan and also post it on my website.

Check out the Parastream page on the Front Panel. It describes the errors in the Josh Bensadon redraw that i understand is the same as the Don Caprio MFP

Hi, 

I don't think there is a schematic that matches all the part numbers on the Don Caprio mini-Front Panel Rev F board.  Don lost his PC with all his original board files, schematics, Gerber files etc.  

Looking closer at the Rev E board I have in my IMSAI-JAIR CBBS computer, the schematic doesn't exactly match that board either.

Is Josh aware of these errors? Since he has the source document, maybe he could fix the errors, or post the source document so others can fix it.

Walt, have you looked at this schematic? It seems it would match your board since it was produced by Don.

Hi, 

I have a Ref F board I'm trying to get working.  

My one Rev E is inside the IMSAI-JAIR CBBS computer and works.  None of the schematics I've found match the boards 100% ...  

Josh said he has files ... but hasn't responded to my emails about the mini-Front Panel.  I asked him to forward copies of all Don's work to Don, but I don't know if that's happened either.
