Selection of 2023 ASME EPPD ExCom At-Large-Member Position

Dear EPPD, HTD and K-16 Committee Members:

The Selection Committee for the At-Large-Member position for the ASME Electronic and Photonic Packaging Division (EPPD) Executive Committee (ExCom) has processed all the applications. This year, it was a close finish between three highly qualified nominees from industry. I am pleased to announce that Dr. Przemek Gromala of Bosch has been elected as the At-Large-Member for the ASME EPPD ExCom. 

 

Przemek has demonstrated a high level of energy and passion in various activities through the ASME. Most recently, he chaired the ASME InterPack Conference in 2022. No doubt, he will keep this up and make significant contributions to the EPPD as a part of the Executive Committee.  

 

Przemek will begin his term as At-Large-Member now as the leadership of the committee transitions: I will chair the Committee, Dr. Sreekant Narumanchi will be the Vice Chair, Dr. Jin Yang will be the Treasurer and Dr. Ankur Jain will be the Secretary in 2023-2024. Having served at the EPPD ExCOM for five years, Professor SB Park stepped down as the Chair, we would like to thank him for his leadership and efforts.
