Yes, the paddle is on!!! Jim has been carefully watching the weather reports - it might not be a "blue bird" day as they say, but it should be an ok day to paddle. He's been watching at Stafford NY which is just above where the fossils are. It shows rain
but that's before 9:00AM. The chance by noon is none!!! There are no thunderstorms in the forecast, wind up to 9 mph but that could change for the better.
So - you might not want to swim - but that's up to you. It's going to be a cooler day, not particularly sunny
Plan to be early - The caravan is leaving at exactly 9;00 and not,, waiting for stragglers!!! (this is the paddle outing plan!!!
Out the parking lot at 9:00)
Be sure to bring hydration, lunch, extra clothing, etc.
It should be an interesting day with those fossils, cliffs and the new park that is part of Finger Lakes Land
Trust.
