Game 1

Clevenger vs. Gallen

Top1, Gyorko plates the games first run with an RBI single scoring Gurriel.  Polish leads 1-0.  Top4, Gurriel steps to the plate with Harrison on first and deposits a Clevinger offering over the centerfield fence for a 2-run homer.  Clevenger is done and hands the ball off to Dolis.  Dolis works a couple of outs before walking Grandal, DeJong steps to the plate and drills a 2-run shot putting the Pride up 5-0.  Bot4, Harper and Reyes reach base with 2-outs, Freeman steps to the plate and ropes a triple into the gap to put the home team on the board.  Polish leads 5-2.  Bot5, Turner finds himself in a 2-out bases load situation...Gallen offers a pitch, low and outside...Turner takes a cut and sends down the opposite field line!  This allows all the runners to score tying the game!  Top7, DeJong does the damage again, this time with a 2-run single.  Polish leads 7-5.  Bot7, Story gets into the game with a double and is quickly driven in Arenado to cut the deficit to 7-6.  Bot9, Freeman ropes a double to lead off the inning, two batters later the Farmboys find themselves down to their last out and Freeman on third.  Story step to the plate and sends a rocket to the hole between 3rd and short...DeJong makes a great stab and the throw to first is.....not in time!  Smallville ties the game in the bottom of the 9th!  Going to extras!  Top15, Hahn drills Judge and gets tossed from the game, Grandal moves him over to third and Mounty comes through in the clutch with an RBI single.  Bot15, Webb enters the game and puts the home team down 1-2-3.  Polish wins 8-7(15)

Game 2

Castano vs. Cody

Bot1, Smallville strikes first with a bases loaded RBI walk from Turner and an RBI groundout by Buxton.  Considering how many runners we had on base, this could've been much worse.  Top4, Rizzo drives in Mountcastle to cut the Farmboy lead in half.  Top5, Grisham drills a solo homer tying up the game.  Top7, Grisham does the damage again, this time with a game leading solo homer.  Bot9, Rosenthal enters the game and is immediately met by Buxton with a game-tying solo homer.  Bot11, in a rare opportunity, Buxton gets to play the hero again in the same game.  This time with a game winning solo homer off Floro!  Smallville wins 4-3(11).

L - Floro 0-1 (4.50)

HR - SMA - Buxton 2(2)

        POL - Grisham 2(2)

The series heads to Polish with a 1-1 tie.

Polish finishes off Smallville by taking 3 straight to win 4-1 I attached the scrips for games 3,4 they were classics
