Attached is the final results for the 2020 7th Inning Stretch regular season.
I had to sim 2 non decisive series, Baystate and Dakota (apologies to Dwayne as he's still off list and may have sent file).
As documented yesterday, Antelope and Polish finished dead even and need to do a 1 game playoff to decide who faces the #1 & #2 seeds.
But as it stands for the League Semi-Finals:
AL
Twin Falls to host Antelope/Polish
Smallville to host Antelope/Polish
NL
Vancouver to host Key West
Beaumont to host Ozark Mountain
League Semi-Finals rules:
9.1- Round
One: Best record division winner vs.
worst record in a 7 game series, 2-3-2 within each league. The remaining two teams also play in a 7 game
series.
Here are the rules for eligibility for playoffs. As this was a reduced season I've applied a factor of 60/162 and rounded down:
9.6- In
order to be eligible to start a game in the post-season, pitchers must have
started at least 10 3 games during the actual major league season.
9.7- In
order to be eligible to appear on a postseason roster, a pitcher must have
pitched at least 20 7 innings in the actual major league season.
9.8 - All fatigue and injuries
carry over into the playoffs. Injuries only carry over into the playoffs.
As soon as we get the results for the 1 game playoff from Antelope & Polish, I will publish a Playoff Organization C-file and we can get those rosters set and move on to the first round of the playoffs.
Congratulations to the playoff teams.
Thank you all for completing yet another season of the 7th Inning Stretch.
