Long Island Rendezvous?

A few weeks ago I posted asking if anybody might be interested in attending gatherings on Long Island of people who are interested in vintage and handmade bicycles.

Now I want to let you know that I'm going ahead with the plan. 

I've created a Google Group called Long Island Rendezvous, and I'm wondering if anybody would like to be added to the group, even if you're probably not going to be able to attend any of the gatherings?

If you want in, just LMK.

Sounds good to me! Can anyone recommend an easyish train route to get there from the boroughs?

Hello Jamie, I'd like to join as well!  Speaking of being from the "boroughs," I'm from Ann Arbor, MI. I'd like to see and read, and be able to pop in if I come to LI to see relatives or former colleagues.  Every so often someone from Chicago has the idea for a meet or two, there's also one occasionally in Ann Arbor, and there has been a Detroit one off and on for quite a while.
