Kinda excited about this. At $80 per, it's the best deal going, unless someone has a line on CR-18s. Only 32h

Well, as though it would be possible to easily buy from Europe: the mainstream aluminum rims offered by wheel builders we don’t hear of in the US are Ryde. Reasonable price. Likely from one of the 2-3 top Taiwan specialist makers.

I'm not sure Ryde is making much in the way of rim brake 650b rims, though. I have a set of the Andra 30 that have been great with discs, but a search on their site turns up only the Andra 25 in 650b (and even there I'm not sure it's 650b). It's heavy and non-tubeless.
Psyched to see some availability of the cr18 though! Unobtainium for a while.

Velomine sells some wheelsets wjth Ryde rims. I had a 29er set for a while. Very, very difficult tire installation and removal. It’s kind of scared me off of their rims.
