WTB or Trade for: 650B silver rim brake rear wheel

I'm looking for a rear wheel like the title says. I have a Crust dynamo wheelset on my Romanceur and I've absolutely hated the sound of the rear wheel from day one. I've never had a problem or cared about this on my MTBs but on this bike it absolutely drives me nuts. And is quite embarrassing when people comment on it. This just isn't the kind of bike I want or need to be loud and noticeable. After a couple years of tolerating it I'm ready to move on. 48mm tires are what I normally run but also take advantage of the 2.2" availability from time to time. I'd be happy with a humble Deore XT level hub noise. I guess I could also consider a wheelset for a steal.  Anybody have anything?

Hi J,

I  have a old stock Rivendell wheelset with a Novatec cartridge bearing freehub that runs silent. I find this silence very pleasing to my liking after nearly 40 years of listening to the noise of freewheels in my ears.

If don't find what you are looking for, I suggest asking Rich Lesnik for a purchase of one of these Novatec hubs at RBW headquarters and find a suitable 32-hole rim to build a wheel. The hub with shipping is about $30.00.

I have an all silver and lightly used Velocity built quill wheelset.  The rear hub is 130, and I would be happy to sell just that and keep the dynamo front wheel.  The rear wheel I would sell is the velocity standard build with 32 spokes.  I had this wheelset built for my canti lightning bolt, but I am selling that bike in favor of the Nor'Easter which takes a 135 hub.

i happen to be interested in a 650b rim brake wheelset especially with a dynamo in the front and 130mm rear spacing. i do not want to step on J's request, so obviously i defer to their interest first. im in lancaster pa. where are you located?
